This project involved a full internal renovation and the addition of a single-storey lean-to roof, transforming this 4-bedroom semi-detached house into a stunning living space. One of the bedrooms has been converted into an adjoining chill-out area for the master bedroom, enhancing comfort and functionality.

The open-plan layout allows an abundance of natural light to flood the interior, beautifully highlighting the striking colors chosen at the design stage.

We delivered a 36 sqm single‑storey rear extension to create a bright, open‑plan kitchen/dining/lounge. The brief also included a new utility room and a downstairs bathroom. To suit the larger floor area, we upgraded the electrical and heating systems, added smart controls, and improved the home’s overall energy performance with new windows, doors, and insulation.

We transformed this traditional Irish cottage into a bright and comfortable home while keeping its original charm. We preserved the classic stone walls and rural details to honour the cottage’s heritage. At the same time, we added modern spaces that bring in more light and comfort.The BuildTech team used natural materials and soft finishes to make sure the new design blended with the original structure. We improved the layout to create better flow and a more open, calm feel throughout the home.

BuildTech recently completed a stunning split-level open plan kitchen and lounge renovation, which involved the construction of a 30sqm single-storey rear extension, significantly enhancing the existing home and making the most of the site's sloping nature.The design uniquely positioned the kitchen on the upper level, maximising natural light into the cosy lounge area below. To achieve this, we installed stylish skylights and long rear windows, ensuring the space is filled with light while providing an inviting atmosphere.

The full project included a rear single-storey extension, a flat roof with a skylight, and a brand new kitchen that combines modern aesthetics with functionality. We also updated new floor finishes throughout the home to create a smooth flow between the spaces.To ensure safety and efficiency, the renovation included a complete electrical rewire and plumbing upgrades. New windows and doors were fitted to enhance insulation and security, while expert carpentry work added the perfect finishing touches to the design.
